The Gallery Series // 05
It’s half term here in the UK, which means school’s out, routines are paused and the juggle ramps up.
Enter The Gallery Series - an image rich series created especially for these busier weeks of family life.
Creating this series is my way of staying consistent with you, dear reader, while remaining fully present with my family during the school holidays. Raising my girls to be grounded, resilient humans is my absolute priority. And, as shared by new-to-me Will Watson and reshared by the gorgeous Emily Grady Dodge, just this:
We all know that when we’re not creating and connecting on this platform, we’re out there doing a whole lot of life. In our day-to-day, we hold a lot. So any reminder to pause, breathe, and just be is always welcome.
When I read the title of Jordyn Sharfe’s piece — trees, forest, denim, discernment — I knew instantly that it would hold exactly the wisdom I needed. A gentle reminder to step back from the noise of the online world and that life is better in good denim. I couldn’t agree more!
Choosing to slip offline when moments of peace are needed. To not participate in a trend when participation doesn’t serve. To sit back and relax in jeans that, well, fit.
The Gallery
As always, The Gallery is intended to be a curated collection of appealing aesthetics, thoughtful titbits, and the beauty of the everyday — artful, hopefully joy-giving — alongside style notes and saved inspirations.
With scenes from the Sky Garden in Bank, the Museum of the Home in Hoxton, and the Winchester cathedral (our local), it’s a very London and its environs centric gallery this holiday. Oh, and the boots that got away.

Style wise, it’s that Mother sweatshirt, perfectly worn-in denim, and outfit inspiration from Kate Lowman, Denise Christensen, Michael Sweeney, Blanca Miró and Monikh with their signature understated ease, and quietly clever accessorising.

Wow, Jenny! Thank you for resharing 'Do not ask your children to strive'. Exactly the childhood I never had - except for when together with my beloved angel grandfather, Albin. Have a blessed Sunday! <3
Jenny, I read this while drinking my morning coffee (a bit delayed but well…) and it was such a nice way to remind myself to slow down and take a breath. I feel exhausted today so I needed this. 🫶🏼
