I actually thought about this when I was struggling with my NYE outfit! I had to refine my descriptors and when I did, my look fell into place. 💕

I love a revisiting of words and AB has said that she has revisited (if not the word) the meaning of her words.

Also, I continue to love and think about Midimalism as a word and it truly covers so much ground. It means a lot that it still resonates with you too.

Thanks Emily! Honestly it was really useful, even if I did end up with similar words. So excited to use them properly now this year in how and what I shop x

Jenny, thank you so much for sharing my post! I am really trying to simplify things, to make room for so much more, and that applies even to the way I think. That’s why I love the 3 words concept so much! I am going to undertake your/Allison’s exercise today to complement my style goals with words that distill my actual *style* - happy new year!

I loved this Jenny! I always use my 3 words as my North Star but leave some room for inspo and creativity. So many great nuggets here to adopt since style is a constant evolution!
